Practical lab time can be scheduled for a team rather than one person at a time, booked the same way as an individual session.

A practical skills assessment for candidates — electricians, controls technicians, automation technicians. The candidate is given a working project or program on real or simulated hardware with a fault deliberately introduced, and has to diagnose and fix it under observation. It tests actual troubleshooting ability, not a written test.
